On 8th June the famous Amalfi regatta: this is the 53rd edition of the ancient regatta involving the sea republics. It is dedicated to peace. This year the regatta is also the occasion to celebrate the 8th centenary of the transfer of the body of Saint Andrew the Apostle. |
Amalfi and the towns of Amalfi Coast are the perfect setting for shows, parades, concerts, seminars, guided tours, and enogastronomic events thanks to the first edition of the festival dedicated to the ancient sea republics and the celebration of the 8th centenary of the transfer of the body of Saint Andrew the Apostle. Amalfi will be proclaimed the "republic of peace".
